Chapter History

The Epsilon Lambda Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated, was chartered Saturday, March 5th, 1966, here at Ohio University on the highest hill in Athens, Ohio. Thanks to the joint efforts of Kappa Men from the Zeta Chapter (The Ohio State University) and the Delta Chapter (Wilberforce University), the brothers of The Epsilon Lambda Chapter were successful in planting the seeds of this great chapter.

On the campus of Ohio University, the brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi continue in the traditions of fraternity in which the fundamental purpose is honorary achievement in every field of human endeavor. Throughout the past 55 years, The Epsilon Lambda Chapter has been striving to uphold the ideals and goals of our great college based fraternity. We are a service based organization that has actively contributed to the Ohio University, and the Athens community since our chartering. Above all else, our goal is to remain an exemplary brotherhood who embodies the principles upon which we were founded.
